My photographic world is opening before my very eyes....and I am absolutely loving it! A friend recently suggested, on her blog, an online course called "the joy of love" which is FREE this month (February).
I figured I could try it since I can do the assignments and watch the short video (link in an email you receive each day) on my own {inconsistent} time schedule, rather than a set time on particular days. Perfect!
Today's assignment ~ "space, where they are comfortable"
Here's my first attempt at using the manual mode on my Cannon PowerShot...
I surprised myself being able to point {almost} directly into the light and am so excited to now know how to get a fully lit picture indoors, rather than relying on Auto! Although, I've noticed when I post pictures lately that the photos end up a bit darker online than they appear in my computer's photo gallery. Something to keep working on.
Buddy is definitely in his comfortable "space".

ReplyDeleteHeather, these pictures look great! Glad you are having fun with the course! I also have problems with my pictures looking a little darker on my blog. I am sure there is a way to calibrate your monitor to blogspot, but I just haven't ever looked into it.
